Green DBers Program
Launched in late 2022 by Discovery Bay Services Management Limited, “The Green DBers Program” aims to motivate Discovery Bay residents to take on a proactive role in practicing sustainable living. The number of program participants has increased from around 200 initially to over 2,000 currently. To initiate interactive communication and broaden existing coverage, we have collaborated with various public, private, and social enterprises within and outside the community to promote educational activities, create a sustainable ecosystem, and facilitate sustainable living. Examples of our partners include the Environmental Protection Department, Water Supplies Department, O.Park 1, Green@Islands, Milmill Recycling Company, Chu Kong Plan, i-Recycle Charity Fund, primary and secondary schools, and Senior Fun Group in the community.
